Raised beds

This is a great option for outdoor gardening, whether you have a yard with grass or a concrete patio. We built this particular raised bed in a wetland region. If your soil is contaminated or unfit for growing, or you just want to raise your garden off of the ground, learn all about how to grow using a raised bed.

Hydroponics

Hydroponics are great for indoor growers but can also be used in outdoor spaces. We get lots of questions about growing while living in an apartment. Hydroponics may be the answer for you! We're going to show you where to get all of the materials and how to set it up, lights and all. It's a lot easier than you think.

Container gardens

Containers are a great low-maintenance growing option. They can be used outdoors on decks, patios, and yards, as well as in indoor spaces in window sills or under lights. This is a picture of our daughter planting okra in a container. We were able to harvest okra from this plant to feed our family. Containers allow you to skip the fuss of weeding and dealing with animals and focus on your plants.
